Authorize Google access

When you install ProjectCare Insight, Google shows a permission screen. That screen is how a Sheets add-on reads the estimates you point at, draws its sidebar, and can write results back when you choose.

What Google will typically list

In everyday language, Google usually explains that ProjectCare Insight can:

• See, edit, create, and delete Google Sheets spreadsheets — so it can read the task estimates you select and, when you choose, write results into the workbook.
• Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars so the add-on UI can appear inside Sheets.
• See your primary Google Account email address — to identify which account authorized the add-on.
• See your personal info, including info you have made publicly available — standard profile access for account identity.

We ask for Sheets access in order to read the estimates you explicitly point at, remember which spreadsheet, tab, and columns you were using (saved in your browser — not as a copy of the sheet on our servers), write results back when you choose to, and draw the add-on sidebar inside Sheets.

Insight is not a search product. It works on the spreadsheet you have open and the ranges you select. We do not treat Sheets permission as a license to go looking through Drive.

Optional Ask AI and external requests

The add-on also uses an external-request capability solely for the optional Ask AI feature. Core probability runs and Lab results do not need you to use Ask AI. Details: Ask AI (bring your own key) and the Privacy Policy.

Revoke access

You can revoke ProjectCare Insight’s access at any time in Google Account Connections. Uninstalling from the Marketplace or from Extensions inside Sheets removes the add-on; local browser storage the add-on used is deleted on uninstall.
