The questions people actually ask.
Does it need access to my Google Sheets?
Yes. Google’s permission screen describes the Sheets scope broadly, but the add-on uses it to read the task tab you choose in the open spreadsheet. It writes to your Sheet only when you ask, for example to create a plan template or save an edited task.
Where is my data stored? Is it sent anywhere?
Your plan stays in your spreadsheet. Calculations run in your browser and in the add-on’s Google Apps Script code, with no iCareNOW calculation service. Settings and records you save are stored with the spreadsheet. The only outside address it can contact is OpenAI, and only if you use Ask AI with your own key. Privacy policy.
What does it cost?
ProjectCare Insight is free: free to install and free to use. Ask AI is optional; if you add your own OpenAI key, OpenAI bills your OpenAI account for that usage.
Does it guarantee my project will finish on time?
No. It’s a planning aid. The odds are model estimates based on your inputs and stated assumptions. It shows you the range, what drives it and what could change it, so the conversation starts from honest numbers.
