ProjectCare Insight

Four steps. Then you have a picture you can defend.

You already collect optimistic, most likely, and pessimistic numbers. Insight does not ask you to become someone else. It asks you to look at what those numbers actually imply — in the sheet, in a few minutes.

01

Install it where the plan already lives

Get ProjectCare Insight from the Google Workspace Marketplace and add it to Google Sheets. The first launch will ask for permission to see and edit spreadsheets. That is how it reads the estimates you point at, and how it can write results back when you choose.

We do not use that permission to browse your Drive. Task estimates used to produce results are not stored after those results return.

02

Load three-point estimates from the sheet

Open the add-on on the tab you already use. Point it at the task — or type optimistic, most likely, and pessimistic yourself. No copy-paste into a separate tool. No shadow workbook.

If the team’s estimates live in columns, Insight should meet them there.

03

See the range, the likelihood, and the picture

Insight shows a probability distribution, a confidence interval, and a visual risk picture for the estimate in front of you. This is the moment a “twelve-day task” becomes a planning range you can actually discuss.

Under the hood this uses Monte Carlo simulation — a conventional, public method. Treat what you see as a planning aid, not a guarantee of the date.

04

Test assumptions. Set a target. Read it in English.

Drag the picture to test a belief — more pressure, more slack, a harder date. Set a confidence target or a duration target, depending on the question the room is asking. Smart Analyst answers in plain language: what the numbers say, where the plan is thin, what to look at next.

Then you decide. Insight does not decide for you.
